Descripción:
La Beca de Agronomía y Ciencias Agrícolas está dirigida a estudiantes que deseen estudiar carreras Agrícolas (Agronomía, Ciencias Agrícolas, Ingeniería Forestal y Medio Ambiente, Ingeniería en la Industrias Agrarias y Alimentarias, Horticultura, Pecuarias, Ingeniería en Recursos Energético, Enología) en Puerto Rico o los Estados Unidos.
*Requisitos: *
- Ser residente de Puerto Ricio y desee cursar estudios en Puerto Rico o Estados Unidos.
- Concentración en Ciencias Agrícolas.
- Ser estudiante de nuevo ingreso de bachillerato, maestría o doctorado.
- Promedio general 3.00 o más.
- Presentar evidencia de necesidad económica (Planilla 2022).
- Haber sido admitido a una universidad acreditada en Puerto Rico o Estados Unidos.
- Se requiere presentar carta de admisión a la institución universitaria.
- Escribir un ensayo que refleje su compromiso con el bienestar socio-económico de Puerto Rico.
- Completar la solicitud en línea en o antes de la fecha límite establecida.

Description:
The Agronomy and Agricultural Sciences Scholarship is aimed at students who wish to pursue academic studies in the agricultural field (Agronomy, Agricultural Sciences, Forest and Environmental Engineering, Agricultural Industry and Food Engineering, Horticulture, Livestock, Energy Resource Engineering, Oenology) in Puerto Rico or the United States.
Requirements:
- Be a resident of Puerto Rico and wish to attend college in Puerto Rico or the United States
- Major in Agricultural Sciences
- Applying to first year of Bachelor’s degree, Master or Doctorate.
- Must have a 3.00 GPA or higher.
- Submit evidence of financial need (2022 tax statement)
- Have been admitted to an accredited university in Puerto Rico or the United States.
- An admission letter is required.
- Write an essay that reflects your commitment to the socio-economic well-being of Puerto Rico.
- Complete online application by the deadline.
